“Fast Five” is the fifth instalment of “The Fast and the Furious” franchise raking in a whopping $626 million dollars worldwide this year. Now, with over 9.2 million downloads this year, according to TorrentFreak.com, “Fast Five” comes out on top as the most pirated movie of 2011 with “The Hangover II” following in a close second with 8.8 million downloads.
The movie, starring Vin Diesel which co-stars Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson struck gold with the fifth installment of the franchise earlier this year in theatres. But, the 9.2 million who pirated the film, does it mean that many people didn’t want to pay to see Vin Diesel drive a car? Yeah, me too.
